Camp Hope
About the Opportunity
The Center of Hope offers Camp Hope for children in various low-income neighborhoods around Parker County once a week for 2-3 hours from June through July. Volunteers read, play, and teach simple cooking activities so that the children are fed physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Aledo UMC is one of the churches committed to assisting with Camp Hope in the Oak Hill neighborhood and serves weekly for one month each summer. This year we will be begin serving on June 9th and will be there Wednesday nights till July 14th.
