VBS 2026
JULY 12th-16th, 5:30pm-8:30pm
This year's theme is : Snowball Mountain Challenge!
Welcome to AUMC VBS 2026—where faith meets adventure! This summer, kids are invited to take on the Snowball Mountain Challenge, an unforgettablewinter-themed VBS where faith, fun, and resilience come together. Set against an excitingsnowy sports backdrop, children will become Challengers, learning how God gives themstrength to face life’s challenges with courage, hope, and trust.
Rooted in Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” SnowballMountain Challenge helps children discover that with God’s strength, they can share their gifts,be brave, give their best, pray boldly, and hold onto hope—no matter what comes their way.Children ages 4 years old (as of July 1, 2026 and fully potty-trained) through incoming 6thgrade** (please see important details below for 6 th graders) are invited to join us for VBS July12–16 from 5:30 to 8:30pm.
Throughout the week, Challengers will enjoy engaging Bible stories, energetic music, creativecrafts, frosty games, a snack supper, and hands-on learning through their ChallengeCompanion (the Bible). Kids will be guided daily by an energetic Activities Director and Ollie theArctic Seal, who brings the snowy fun to life while helping connect each day’s lessons tomeaningful faith truths.
Snowball Mountain Challenge is more than just games and fun—it’s a mountaintop experience where children grow in faith, build friendships, and discover the strength God has placed within them. By the end of the week, we hope to hear every child say: “Challenge accepted—with God,I am strong!”
Children must be 4 years old by July 1st, 2026.
Children must be fully potty trained.
Nursery is available for Volunteer's children.
As our Children’s Ministry continues to grow, we’ve updated our VBS grade organization to better align with Aledo ISD’s grade structure. 4th and 5th graders (our “Quad Kids”) will participate in a special VBS Mission Camp, taking their learning a step further through hands-on mission experiences. This program is designed to help them grow as leaders while learning how to be the hands and feet ofChrist.
Incoming 6th graders have two options:
- Register as a child participant and join the Quad Kids (4th–5th grade), or
- Take their faith journey to the next level by serving as a Youth Volunteer, working alongside adults and mentoring younger children.
