Welcome to Camping Church

Aumc has started a new ministry to invite those without a church home to experience church in a new and relaxed way.

Aledo UMC members are encouraged to find a person, couple, or family who are looking to experience a church home and invite them to Camping Church.

The campsite has a fire pit, games, seating and nearby indoor bathroom facilities. If you would like to come but don't have a tent, we have some available to rent.

The campsite opens at 3pm on the first Saturday of every month for the months November till April (weather and temperature permitting).

Camping Church Guidelines

1. No pets
2. Christian music only
3. No Alcohol
4. No Tobacco
5. Cook Area Closes At 8:00
6. Quiet Time at 10PM
7. No Open Flame (Propane Stoves and Coleman Stoves Are Acceptable)
8. Admittance To Campsite Requires One Guest Family Without A Church Home
