Trudy and her family have been a part of AUMC since 2003.  Trudy grew up in Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor's in Parks & Recreation and a Master's in Health Education.  While there, she met and married her husband of 36 years, Cliff Smith.  They have two wonderful sons, Ben and Danny.

After serving in youth ministry for more than 6 years, Trudy became Director of Children and Family Ministries, where she was blessed to serve for 3 years. In 2014, she was named Director of Congregational Care and Connections.  Trudy heads a team of Congregational Care Ministers who reach out to those within our congregation and in our community needing healing and comfort. She also helps visitors and new members get connected in our church.

Trudy likes good pizza, strong coffee, and warm hugs from kids of all ages!  Her door is always open, so please contact Trudy with any questions.
